We're based in Barnoldswick, Lancashire, and carry out installations across the UK. Most customers bring their vehicle to our workshop, which allows us to do the cleanest, most thorough job possible. We also travel to customers in some circumstances — get in touch and we'll let you know what's possible for your location.
No — most customers drop off their vehicle and collect it a few days later once the work is complete. We'll keep you updated throughout and call you when everything is ready.
No — we work on a wide range of vehicles. Motorhomes and campervans are our most common projects, but we also install systems in converted vans, off-grid cabins, narrowboats and other marine applications. If it needs power off-grid, we can help.
We don't disappear after handover. All our installations come with ASTT Aftercare — call or email us if you have questions or issues after your system is fitted. We walk you through everything at collection so you leave confident, and we're here if anything comes up once you're on the road.
It depends on the size and complexity of the system. Our Weekender package is typically completed in 2–3 days. The Worker and Wanderer packages usually take 4–5 days. Fully bespoke builds vary depending on scope. We'll always give you a realistic timeline before you book, so there are no surprises.
It comes down to how you travel. The Weekender is ideal for weekend trips and short breaks. The Worker is built for people working remotely from their vehicle for a full week. We build our off-grid systems around Victron Energy components — widely regarded as the gold standard for leisure and off-grid electrical systems. For batteries, we use Fogstar Drift Pro and Roamer Smart5 lithium LiFePO4 batteries. For connectivity, we use Teltonika routers and Starlink Roam where appropriate. We choose these brands because we trust them — not because they're the cheapest option.
Absolutely — this is one of the most common things we do. Many factory motorhomes come with undersized battery banks and no solar. We can assess what you have, keep what's worth keeping, and upgrade the rest to a modern lithium Victron system. We'll give you an honest recommendation before any work begins.
