These trading terms apply to the supply of products and services by ASTT Engineering. By placing an order or booking work with ASTT Engineering, you agree to these terms.

2. Quotations

All quotations provided by ASTT Engineering are based on the information available at the time of quoting.

Quotations:

• are typically valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise
• may be subject to change if additional work or parts are required
• are estimates unless confirmed in writing as a fixed price

Additional work requested after the quotation has been issued may result in additional charges.

3. Booking and Deposits

A deposit may be required to secure a booking for installation work.

Bookings are only confirmed once the deposit has been received.

ASTT Engineering reserves the right to cancel or reschedule work if deposits are not received within the required timeframe.

4. Payment Terms

Payment for services must be made according to the terms agreed at the time of booking.

Unless otherwise agreed:

• deposits are payable before work begins
• the remaining balance is due upon completion of the work
• products supplied remain the property of ASTT Engineering until payment is received in full

ASTT Engineering reserves the right to charge interest on overdue invoices where applicable.

5. Vehicle Condition

Customers are responsible for ensuring their vehicle is in suitable condition for work to be carried out.

ASTT Engineering will not be responsible for issues arising from:

• existing electrical faults
• previously installed equipment
• structural or mechanical defects unrelated to the installation

If previously unknown issues are discovered during installation, additional work may be required and will be discussed with the customer before proceeding.

6. Parts and Equipment

Parts and equipment supplied by ASTT Engineering are sourced from reputable manufacturers.

Where customer-supplied parts are used:

• ASTT Engineering cannot guarantee compatibility or performance
• any issues arising from these parts are the responsibility of the customer

Manufacturer warranties apply to many components supplied and installed.

7. Installation Work

ASTT Engineering will carry out installations with reasonable care and skill.

Installation timelines may vary depending on:

• parts availability
• vehicle condition
• complexity of the installation
• unforeseen technical issues

While every effort is made to complete work within agreed timeframes, delays may occasionally occur.

8. Cancellation

If a booking is cancelled by the customer:

• deposits may be non-refundable depending on the stage of preparation or parts ordering
• reasonable notice should be provided wherever possible

ASTT Engineering reserves the right to cancel or reschedule work in exceptional circumstances.

9. Limitation of Liability

ASTT Engineering will not be liable for:

• indirect or consequential losses
• loss of use of the vehicle
• loss of business or revenue

Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so under UK law.

10. Technical Advice

Advice provided on the ASTT Engineering website or during initial enquiries is intended for general information only.

Electrical systems and vehicle installations can vary depending on the vehicle and equipment used.

Specific technical recommendations should always be confirmed during a consultation before installation work is carried out.

11. Warranty

Where applicable, equipment supplied and installed by ASTT Engineering may be covered by manufacturer warranties.

Warranty terms vary depending on the component manufacturer.

Installation workmanship is guaranteed for a reasonable period unless otherwise stated.

12. Governing Law

These trading terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes relating to services provided by ASTT Engineering will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
